INFORMATION AND CLARIFICATION TEXT REGARDING THE PROCESSING OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Ebru Öner ("Sun Pieces") places great importance on the personal data of its customers and the rights arising therefrom. The following sections cover what personal data is collected on the sunpieces.com website and Sun Pieces' mobile application, the purposes for which such data is collected, how it is used, how you can update it, and how you can contact us.

1. Legal Basis for Processing Personal Data

Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data, Law No. 6563 on the Regulation of Electronic Commerce, Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, the Regulation on Service Providers and Intermediary Service Providers in Electronic Commerce, and the Regulation on Commercial Communication and Commercial Electronic Messages all contain provisions relating to the processing or protection of personal data. The Turkish Penal Code No. 5237 also sets out certain sanctions relating to the processing and confidentiality of personal data.

As Sun Pieces, we need to process the personal data of our members and customers in order to fulfil our obligations arising from contracts entered into with you under Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers and the Distance Contracts Regulation, and to provide the best possible service.

2. Methods Used in Processing Personal Data

Sun Pieces places great importance on the security of its customers' information and works with the most advanced technology to ensure this. All physical, electronic and administrative measures have been taken in secure environments to protect the site. All information is stored and backed up on secure servers.

In order to enable third-party providers, including Google, to display sunpieces.com advertisements in banner spaces on publisher sites across the internet, these providers need to collect advertising-related information, optimise and serve ads based on users' past visits to sunpieces.com. Sunpieces.com uses Google Analytics' Remarketing and Demographics & Interests Reporting features. You may opt out of Google Analytics for Display Advertising and customise your Google Display Network ads through your ad settings. Demographic information provided by Google Analytics is used to tailor sunpieces.com and its advertising to users' interests. This information may be shared with advertising publishers alongside data from other users for advertising and promotional purposes. This information does not include any personally identifiable data such as name, surname, national ID number, gender or age, and is used solely to analyse group user trends and segment target audiences.

Processing of your personal data by Sun Pieces without explicit consent is only possible in the limited cases set out in Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data.

Credit card details entered on the payment page are never stored on sunpieces.com's servers or those of its service providers, in order to ensure the highest level of security for our customers.

5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data

As Sun Pieces, we would like to remind you of your rights under Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data:

a) To learn whether your personal data is being processed, b) To request information if your personal data has been processed, c) To learn the purpose of processing your personal data and whether it is being used in accordance with that purpose, d) To know the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred, domestically or abroad, e) To request correction of your personal data if it is incomplete or inaccurate, f) To request deletion or destruction of your personal data under the conditions set out in Article 7, g) To request that third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be notified of the actions taken under (e) and (f), h) To object to a result arising against you through the analysis of your processed data exclusively by automated systems, i) To request compensation for damages suffered due to unlawful processing of your personal data.

6. Personal Data Retention Period

Your personal data will be processed for the periods required by the Personal Data Protection Law and other applicable legislation, and for as long as the legitimate purposes stated above remain in place.

7. Updating Your Personal Data and Your Right to Apply

As Sun Pieces, we are obliged under Law No. 6698 to ensure that the personal data we process is accurate and up to date. To enable us to update your information when it changes, please contact us through the contact channels available in the "Corporate" section of sunpieces.com. You may also contact us in the same way to exercise any of the rights listed above. Sun Pieces undertakes to make necessary updates following any changes in legislation relating to personal data.

Complaints submitted by customers whose personal data is processed by Sun Pieces will be responded to and resolved by Sun Pieces as soon as possible and within a maximum of 30 days. However, should any additional cost arise, Sun Pieces reserves the right to charge a fee in accordance with the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Authority.

Customers may submit their requests and complaints to sunpieces.com in accordance with Law No. 6698 and related legislation. In this context, you may submit requests relating to the rights listed under "5. Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data" to the Company, together with identity-verifying documents, using the following methods:
